Bioblitz & Community Watershed Event
Saturday June 6th Mistahiya (10km east of Riverdale Mini-Park)
Join the M.D. of Wainwright, Battle River Watershed Alliance (BRWA), and the Wainwright Wildlife Society for a bioblitz and community watershed event!
This free community event will feature:
– Guided wildlife walks: 10:30am (bird focus) & 1:00pm
– Kids games & activities
– Hayrides along the river valley
– Free wiener roast lunch: 11:30am-12:45pm
Please bring a lawn chair and drop in anytime between 10am-2pm!
A bioblitz is an event where community members come together and attempt to observe as many species in a given location as possible.
Please note activities will be weather permitting.
