The Municipal District of Wainwright Oiling Crew is scheduled according to the oiling plan established by the Director of Public Works in consultation with each Divisional Councillor. The Oiling Crew is supervised by the Oiling Foreman, designated by the Director of Pubic Works. The Oiling Foreman ensures that appropriate warning signs are in place to alert traffic from all directions that construction is in progress. The signs shall remain until the road is in safe normal driving conditions. The Director of Public Works shall have the discretion to temporarily ban a newly oiled road, with the consultation of the Divisional Councillor.
