It is recommended that anyone wishing to start a business contact the office with the business name and location so that it is on file for economic and promotional activity within our area.<\/p>\n
Any new structures located on a property in relation to a business will require a development permit.<\/p>\n
Please Note: A Home Occupation<\/strong> <\/em>may require a municipal Development Permit. A Home Occupation<\/em><\/strong> is defined as any business, occupation, trade, profession or craft carried on by an occupant of a dwelling as a use secondary to the residential use of the parcel, and which does not significantly change the character thereof. A home occupation may include business conducted within accessory buildings developed on the parcel.
