Waste Information
The Municipal District of Wainwright has changed garbage service provider is Waste Management. Rural customers have access to a garbage bin supplied by the M.D. of Wainwright at no cost and must pay for the monthy waste collection fee.
To receive a municipal bin, please call the Administration Office at 780-842-4454 to place the request.
The following is the cost schedule as per our contract with Waste Management.

Major appliances MUST be taken to the appropriate landfill sites for proper disposal. These landfill sites are located in the Town of Wainwright and the Villages of Chauvin, Edgerton and Irma.
Door to door service is offered weekly at the Fabyan townsite and the residental PMQ's at the Western Area Training Centre.
