Bob Barss is the Reeve and the Councillor for Division 7 in the M.D. of Wainwright No. 61. Reeve Barss was elected in October of 1995 and is currently serving his fifth term in office as Councillor for this division. He became Reeve of the municipality in 1997 and has continued to be Reeve since this time. Reeve Barss sits on the following Boards and Committees: Insurance, Bylaws, Agreements & Regulations Committee, Intermunicipal Development Committee, Irma Fire Area, Irma Rural Recreation Area Board, Public Relations Committee for Camp Wainwright, Wainwright Ambulance Committee, Wainwright Regional Waste to Energy Authority, and the Wainwright Seed Cleaning Plant Committee. Bob is also a Director for District 5 of the Alberta Association of Municipal Districts and Counties where he represents 14 North Eastern Alberta municipalities . Bob was born and raised in the Irma area and has lived here his entire life. He and his wife Susan have two children, Nicole and Amanda. Bob, together with his wife, operates a mixed farm. Before being elected to the M.D., Bob worked in the oil industry.

Phil Valleau is the Councillor for Division 4 in the M.D. of Wainwright No. 61. Councillor Valleau sits on the following Boards and Committees: Agricultural Service Board as Chairman, Battle River Alliance (BRAED), Disaster Services Committee, Public Relations Committee for Camp Wainwright, Town of Wainwright Library Board, Town of Wainwright Rural Recreation Area Board, Wainwright Fire Area, and the Wainwright Rural Recreation Area Board. Phil is married to Bev and has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. He has lived south of Wainwright all his life, with farming as his main occupation. In addition to farming, Phil ran a retail sports store from his farm and held a large ground maintenance contract for 5 years. Currently, Phil holds a Journeyman Mechanic ticket and a Journeyman Machinist ticket, and has a machinist shop on the farm, and currently he is working in the oil industry. Phil served as a Councillor previous to 2004, and was re-elected in the fall of 2007.

Ted Wilkinson is the Councillor for Division 2 in the M.D. of Wainwright No. 61. Councillor Wilkinson was elected in 2004 and sits on the following Boards and Committees: 911 Advisory Committee, Composite Assessment Review Board, Edgerton Fire Area, Edgerton Library Board, Edgerton Rural Recreation Area Board, Edgerton Seed Cleaning Plant, Municipal Planning Commission, Northern Lights Library Board/Adhoc Committee, Wainwright Ambulance, and the Wainwright Regional Waste to Energy Authority. Ted was raised in the Edgerton area. After high school, he attended the University of Alberta and obtained a Bachelor of Education. After teaching school for four years, Ted went to work in the trades and became a journeyman electrician. He has worked in the electrical trade for the past twenty-five years. With his wife Diane, he has also operated a small cow-calf operation for the past twenty years. Ted and Diane have two children, Ian and Jodi, both living and working in Red Deer, Alberta.

Myron is currently in his third term as a Municipal Councilor for the Municipal District of Wainwright for Division 3. Councillor Zajic sits on the following Boards and Committees: Assessment Review Board, Community Health Foundation, Disaster Services Committee, Edgerton Fire Area, Edgerton Rural Recreation Area Board, Edgerton Seed Cleaning Plant, Insurance, Bylaws, Agreements & Regulations, Municipal Planning Commission, Wainwright & District FCS, and the Wainwright & District Physician Recruitment Committee. Myron farms with his wife Jackie and their son Ryan and his wife Kathy along with their three children, Hannah, Riley and Livia. Together they own and operate Zajic Farms Ltd, a third and fourth generation farm which produces cereals and oilseeds.
Myron is a person who has always been interested in his community and has served in many capacities on boards and through volunteer work. Curling and his grandchildren use up most of Myron’s spare time. As a food producer Myron knows the value of food and the soil that produces it and treats it with great respect, just like the caring attitude he carries into his everyday life.

Morley Muldoon is the Councillor for Division 5 in the M.D. of Wainwright No. 61, and was elected in 2007. Councillor Muldoon currently sits on the following Boards and Committees: Airport Committee, Buffalo Interpretive Centre, Economic Development Committee, Insurance, Bylaws, Agreements & Regulations, Intermunicipal Development Committee, Labour Committee, Town of Wainwirght Rural Recreation Area Board, Wainwright Fire Area, Wainwright Rural Recreation Area Board, and the Wainwright Seed Cleaning Plant Committee. Morley owns and operates Morley Muldoon Transport Ltd., involved in the oilfield transportation industry. Morley came to Wainwright in 1974 to play for the Jr. Bisons, and never left. He supports every activity he possibly can, within Wainwright and surrounding area. His son, Tyson Jones, is currently taking Petro-Chemical Engineering at NAIT in Edmonton.

Shelly is the Councillor for Division 6, and was elected in 2007. Councillor Andersen sits on the following boards: Assessment Review Board, Battle River Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Intermunicipal Development Committee, Irma Fire Area, Irma Library Board & Joint Use Committee, Irma Rural Recreation Area Board, Wainwright & District FCS, and the Wainwright Fire Area Board. Shelly is a farm and commercial insurance account executive and have been in the industry for 28 years. She is married to Brad Andersen who has a construction company, and they also run a mixed farm operation. Together they have 2 boys, Ryley (20) and Ryan (17). Shelly's interests include gardening and landscaping, walking, and joining her boys as a supporter of their sports activities that include racing and hockey.
